After you’ve logged in to Blackboard, go to your course and go to the Content Area where you will use the Ensemble Video Building Block.

Create An Item in Blackboard

Go to your content Area in Blackboard, click on the Build Content button and select Create an Item (alternatively, you can select the Ensemble Video Mashup tool in the bottom right portion of the menu).

Name the Item and Launch the Ensemble Video Building Block

Name your Item, click on the Mashups Button and select Ensemble Video from the menu.

Using the Choose Media Tab in the Ensemble Video Building Block

The Ensemble Video Building Block Choose Media Tab provides access to all areas of the Ensemble Video Blackboard Building Block that you will need. You can:

  • Insert – Insert the media into the Blackboard editor.
  • Preview – Preview the media item.
  • Search – Search the Ensemble Video Media Library content.
  • Upload – Upload Video to Ensemble Video so it is available in Blackboard.
  • Record – Record Video using Ensemble Anthem so it is available in Blackboard.

Save & Submit

After inserting the video, click Save to insert the video.

After saving the video into the Blackboard item, click Submit to insert the video.

Play Video

The video has been inserted into the Blackboard content item, you and your students can now view the video.

Choose a Playlist in the Ensemble Video Building Block

The Ensemble Video Building Block Choose Playlist Tab provides access to all the available playlists in your Ensemble Video Media Library.  You can:

  • Insert – Add a playlist into Blackboard.
  • Preview – Preview an Ensemble Video playlist.

Save & Submit

After inserting the playlist, click Save to insert the playlist.

After saving the playlist into the Blackboard item, click Submit to insert the playlist.

View Playlist & Play Video

The playlist has been inserted into the Blackboard content item, you and your students can now view the video.
