Cloud-Hosted Trial Options

The cloud-hosted Ensemble Video trial enables prospects to have access to our video platform without installing any software in their own data center.  This is easily the fastest way to test Ensemble Video. Please review the three cloud-hosted trial options available to a prospect.

Option #1 – A Trial Library

You take on the persona of a non-administrative user (faculty member, web designer, or media specialist) where you can upload, transcode and publish video. Additionally, you can live stream and use EnsembleLive (our mobile app). This trial let you test the basic features of an Ensemble user, but there are limited administrative controls in this trial.

Trial Setup Time: Usually within an hour (depending on demand)

Trial Length: 30 days

What You Can Do:

Option #2 – A Trial Organization

You take on the personal of an Instructional Technology professional or Information Technology staffer. In this trial, you can create new libraries and users so multiple users can participate in the trial. Your users can upload, transcode and publish video. Finally, you can live stream in this trial.

Trial Setup Time: Usually within an hour (depending on demand)

Trial Length: 30 days

Option #3 – A Trial Institution

You basically get a fully-functioning cloud setup, like a customer would. This has all the administrative controls, features and functions of a cloud hosted customer. If you want to test LMS integrations, Identity Providers, and other branding controls, this is a good option. In this trial, you can create new libraries and users so multiple users can participate in the trial. Your users can upload, transcode and publish video. Finally, you can live stream in this trial.

Trial Setup Time: 1-3 business days (depending on demand)

Trial Length: 30 days

The self-hosted Ensemble Video trial enables prospects to have access to our simple and powerful video platform hosted in their own data center and network. The self-hosted deployment offers full control and flexibility over server and network resources, along with customizable media workflows. This is the best way to test Ensemble Video if you are looking for a self-hosted solution and have specific wants and needs related to an on-premise video platform deployment.

Trial Setup Time: It depends, how fast can you get the servers setup?

Trial Length: 30 days (can be extended if needed)
