Uploading Caption Files

With the Upload Caption File tab, you can upload a W3C DFXP or VVT Timed Text caption file. (The file extension for the DFXP format should be .xml). The captions will display automatically when your video content is played. First, select the language of your captions (5.1+), then just drag and drop your closed caption file from your desktop, or click Add File to browse for the file on your computer. Then click Start Upload. When the caption file is added, Ensemble will automatically check the file and report any errors. Note: VVT caption files are available in version 4.1+, and only if JW Player is set as the video player.

Note: You may upload multiple caption files in different languages. Ensemble Video customers can upload WebVTT and DFXP caption files in Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish (Mexican), Spanish (Spain), Italian, English (US), English (Australia), and English (Great Britain).
