The Bulk Scheduling tool provides an interface for users to schedule multiple remote recordings using a CSV file containing recording information for registered Ensemble Studio devices.
Bulk Add Schedule
Go to Administration > Organization > Ensemble Studio and click the Bulk button and Click Add Schedules.
Download CSV Template
Next, click the (1) Download CSV Template button to download the Ensemble Studio Schedule template file (.csv). The file contains information about recordings, device names, devices locations and scheduling specifics. Download the CSV Template Here. After populating the CSV template file, click the (2) Browse button to upload the Ensemble Studio Schedule file.
Import Schedule Template
After uploading the Ensemble Studio Schedule file, the file will be validated. If there are no errors in the .csv template file, click the Import button to import the schedule.
Validation Error
If there is an issue with the .csv template file, the errors will be listed on a downloadable validation file. Click the Download link to view the validation errors. Click the blue i icon will include specific instructions for adding bulk schedules.
Import Success
After the file has been validated it will be processed and imported. Click the Go to Devices page button to review the devices and schedule.
Import Error
If there is an error during processing of the the .csv template file, the errors will be listed on a downloadable validation file. Click the Download link to view the validation errors. Click the blue i icon will include specific instructions for adding bulk schedules.
Instructions for Adding Bulk Schedules

Note: Minimum recording time is 5 minutes and maximum recording time is specified in Institution settings.
Device Name*: The device where schedule will be created.
Recording Name*: Recording name that will be used for recording entry. Maximum length is 100 characters.
Auto Recording*: Enter TRUE for 'Auto' or FALSE / Empty field for 'User controlled' recording. Auto Recording entries will start and stop automatically, otherwise users will have manually start and stop recordings.
Target Organization*: The destination Organization where content will be uploaded. The Organization must exist in the Institution where the device is registered.
Target Library*: The destination Library where content will be uploaded. The Library must existed in the selected Organization.
Auto-Publish To Playlist: The destination Playlist where recording will be auto-published. This is a required field if Auto-Publish Category is specified.
Auto-Publish To Category: The destination Category where the recording will be auto-published. This is a required field if Auto-Publish Playlist is specified.
Start Date*: The start date of the schedule recording. Date format is ‘M/DD/YYYY’ (ex. 7/01/2020).
Start Time*: The start time of the schedule recording. Time format is ‘H:MM tt’ (ex. 1:00 PM).
End Date*: The end date of the schedule recording. Date format is ‘M/DD/YYYY’ (ex. 7/01/2020).
End Time*: The end time of the schedule recording. Time format is ‘H:MM tt’ (ex. 1:00 PM).
Recurrence: Enter TRUE to enable Recurrence.
End By Date: The end date of the recurring schedule. Date format is ‘M/DD/YYYY’ (ex. 7/01/2020).
Recurrence Days: Enter TRUE to set daily Recurrence.
