Ensemble Content administrators can import video from YouTube™ into their Ensemble Video library to to publish content to an Ensemble Video playlist. This is useful if content administrators want to mix their own content and YouTube™ content in Ensemble Video playlists, portals, and publishing methods.
In version 5.6 and above the Import Video from YouTube™ Configuration was moved to the System Administration area to simplify Importing Video from YouTube™ for all users. Now all users can easily Import Video from YouTube™ without any setup at the Library level. To learn more on How to Import Video from YouTube™, click here. YouTube™ Configuration in the System Administration Area
The API Key is pre-populated and configured to work out-of-the-box, but can be changed if you would like to use a specific API key from your Google Developers Console.
To change the the API Key go to System > YouTube™ > Paste API Key > Click Save.
Disable the YouTube™ configuration
Administrators can Disable the Import Video from YouTube™ at the System or Institution or Organization or Library level. To Disable the Import Video from YouTube™ configuration go to System or Institution or Organization or Library > Security > YouTube™ Import > Disabled > Click Save.
